Richeson & Co Series 6228/6229 Kolinsky Sable Rounds & Flats
All real Sable comes from an animal called the Marten Weasel generally found
in the far Northern regions of Russia. The hair of the male Marten’s tail
is thick with a graceful taper to the end. Each hair has delicate scales to
hold and release liquid smoothly. The hair of the male is longer and springier
than that of the female. The series 6228 and the 6229 are made of 60% male hair
blended with 40% female hair.
