T-Shirt Compressors*
* Don't be mislead by our "T-Shirt" designation. These
compressors are fine for auto art, helmets, and just about anything
else. T-Shirts require a lot of psi, so if it can do T-Shirts,
it can do a lot.

Sil-Air
Series
The Sil-Air series of compressors come with all the same features
as the super
silent series. The main difference is that all the
Sil-Air compressors have cast iron motors. The cast iron
motors (pumps) dissipate the heat more efficiently and accordingly,
operate more efficiently.
1 airbrush artist working at up to 60 p.s.i., or
3 users with output regulator set @ 20 p.s.i.
operating simultaneously on a 50% Duty Cycle (e.g., the motor’s
average running time while you are working would be on 50% of
the time and off 50% of the time).
There is
quite a selection of compressors in this series with single ½
hp motor (different tank sizes and one has wheels) The reason
for the large selection is because of the diversity of the applications
(Airbrush industry, Dental industry, Jeweler industry, Photo industry,
Beauty Supply industry, etc.)
The main issue to be aware of is, the larger the air tank, the
more efficient the compressor will operate. A compressor with
a larger tank shuts on and off less times per day than one with
a smaller tank. When a compressor switches on there is a voltage
spike and heat is created. Heat is one of the main enemies of
the motor life. This is #1 reason that we only recommend
6 gal or larger size tanks for commercial T-shirt production.
