Wicked Colors /Wicked Detail Colors
W-100 Reducer / W-200 Transparent Base
All Wicked Colors are highly pigmented, transparent colors, which cover semi-opaque right out of the bottle, perfect for full color saturation with virtually no tip-dry.
Superior control will enable the user to pull long & continuous lines without skipping or grainy over-spray. They work with all airbrush tip-sizes and air dry incredibly fast.
Wicked Colors (0.5 microns / dry semi gloss) perfect for t-shirts, automotive graphics, illustration and most any application.
Wicked Detail Colors (.01 microns / dry matte) highly refined for ultra-low PSI atomization through small tip-sized airbrushes, perfect for highly detailed illustrations.
Wicked Detail white W-050 & Wicked Detail Black W-051 are the best for fine line control (without over-spray), subtle layering and most airbrushing at lower psi settings with smaller tip sizes.
Wicked Opaque White W-030 & Wicked Black W-002 is best when full coverage and full saturation is required.
In the 40-50psi working range, Wicked Colors can be sprayed straight out of the bottle through general use tip-sized airbrushes (PaascheVL#3, Iwata Eclipse, Badger Crescendo, etc)
W-100 Wicked Reducer All colors can be infinitely reduced (to make colors thinner and more transparent, even candied effects) in any ratio with for use with smaller tip-sizes and lower psi ranges.
Reducing and even over reducing has no effect on the vibrancy of your Wicked Color.
Some illustrators have reported reducing in amounts in excess of 800%
Reducing does not affect the shelf-life of colors after mixing
Automotive: Wicked Colors are suitable for automotive and exterior finishes. Colors air dry to a very durable film which withstand direct exposure to outdoor elements.
Top coats may be applied for automotive and other permanent exterior applications. Wicked Colors are compatible with catalyzed, urethane clears.
T-shirts: Top-Coating is not necessary for t-shirt, interior or light exterior applications. For optimum film strength and wash-fastness on a t-shirt, cure with heat after Wicked Colors air dry.
W200 Transparent Base: colorless binder base to Wicked Colors which increases transparency without thinning, dries semi-gloss clear. Use as a protective inter-coat or mix to colors over-reduced with W100 reducer to thicken mix without losing transparency. W200 may be added in any amount to colors and does not affect shelf life after mixing.
11 Fluorescent colors have recently been added to the Wicked Color line. However, the final tweaking of these colors has not been completed as of 08/01/2010.
Always use the recommended “leave the air on” technique when airbrushing.
